m&m's Planet Project _ [ Eat! m&m's ] m&m's Planet, 2017 by Kim Soojeong, Park Jiyoon, Woo Hyeunjoo. Graduation work. New Media / Interactive Art. cf.A part of making film According to the nature of the M&M's brand to always try something new, we think it would be better for the M&M's store to be more interesting. [EAT! M&M's] worked with Arduino, MAX7 and a hand-made dispenser to take the chocolate directly. The concept of the video is defined as M&M's in the pipe, 3D modeling and rendering with Cinema4D, and the video playback code was written with MAX7. The cord was connected to the Arduino and the dispenser so that the dispenser opening would open when the video finished its playing. The sound was enjoyable and funny, and also needed to match the tempo of the video, so We recorded it ourselves and edited it with Pro tools. You can watch the video by blowing the pipe and then finally eat the chocolate from the dispenser!
